    Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Public Health and Monitoring and Evaluation. Research, research supervision and publication are key aspects of the work. Providing school grants with support in monitoring and evaluation, journal publication, policy brief preparation, conference presentations and mentorship and supervision and knowledge management. Senior member of many internationally funded grants through NIH, PEPFAR, WHO, Wellcome Trust, JICA, CDC, Care International and others. Also led curriculum review, design and implementation. Was key in developing and rolling out the first fully online programme at the school – the online master’s in public health.

    Specialized in consultancies in public health, monitoring and evaluation as well as organisational development. Research work in these areas has included leading and co-leading all stages of research: literature review; research design and developing and pretesting data collection tools; obtaining ethical approval; training data collectors and field supervisors; data collection, compilation, analysis and quality assurance; and report writing and dissemination of results to different audiences using various data-driven products. Mixed-method research has been key in most of this work with both qualitative and quantitative data analysis and reporting, including secondary data analysis.
