Here are a few of the most asked questions about the Experts Database. If you do not see your questions answered below or you have any further questions, please reach out to us at coachingapproach@r4d.org.

How many experts do you have on the database?

We have over 200 individual and institutional experts on the database and are continuing to grow this network each day.

What types of experts and institutions are you looking for and how do I know if I qualify?

Currently, the database is targeted for individuals and institutions with expertise or a focus on health systems strengthening. Some of these areas include monitoring and evaluation, health financing, and community engagement. Many of our experts also have coaching, mentoring and process facilitation skills. If any of these areas apply to you, please create a profile on the database.

How long will it take for my account to be approved?

Staff will review pending profiles within 2-3 business days. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to proceed once your account is approved.

How will my information and data be used?

Information you submit, except for your email address, is available for public view to anyone who is viewing the database in a web browser. Your information is stored in a web content management system. Your account and information can be deleted by an Administrator at any time per your request. We do not sell or pass on your information to third parties, vendors or other organizations. We may use your email address to send periodic emails to you for informational purposes.

Can you reset my email address and/or password?

Our Administrator can reset your email address and password but not your username. If you have forgotten your password, you may reset it by visiting our Password Reset page. Otherwise, you may also request our Administrator to change your password and send you a new one.

Why am I required to remove personal information from my resume or CV?

We require individuals to remove personally identifying information (PII) from their resumes or CVs as a security precaution to protect users from spammers, hackers and other bad actors from using the Experts Database to harvest this information. PII includes: Email Address, Home Address, Photograph, Phone Number, Date of Birth, Gender, References, Marital Status, etc.
