  • Logistics and Procurement Assessment for Fleming Fund Programme

    Jan 2017 - Present
IPA has been requested to perform a logistics and procurement assessment on organisations and their country specific situations that are being considered to undertake procurement. The assessments are a part activity under the Fleming Fund Grants Programme agreement for procurement and related services between Mott MacDonald and IPA.
The aim of this activity is to assess and advise at a country level on the options and methodology for procuring goods and logistic services under the Fleming Fund Grants Programme with a view to maximising the effective and efficient use of funding and mitigating risks.
  • Supply Chain Management for Health Pooled Fund South Sudan

    Jan 2013 - Present
IPA has been subcontracted by HPF South Sudan for the Supply Chain Management of all Pharmaceuticals and Equipment purchased under the Grant. This means 3 consignments per year of 6 ton cargo coming into the country and being distributed to all health facilities supported by HPF in South Sudan.
This includes regular and cold chain warehouse management, distributions and last mile delivery under difficult circumstances and in a volatile environment.
  • Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Assessment

    Jan 2017 - Dec 2018
The overall objective of the assignment was to assess the essential drugs supply chain of the Government of Somaliland in terms of capacity to deliver drugs in a safe and effective way to the country’s hospitals. The consultant assessed the current situation, identified gaps and problems and provided recommendations on how to address these. It also included an assessment of the possibility to use the supply chain, potentially with minor adjustments, within the timeframe of the Health Project for the supply of essential drugs to Erigavo and Las Anod hospitals.
